Pavel Zoubok is a private art dealer, curator and advisor working in New York City and southern Italy. Pavel Zoubok Fine Art is based in an historic townhouse on the Upper East Side and is available by appointment only for viewings and consultations.
Since 1997, Pavel Zoubok has exhibited the work of contemporary and modern artists with a unique focus in the fields of collage, assemblage and mixed media installation. From the outset, Pavel Zoubok Gallery combined modern and contemporary works in an effort to create a cohesive art historical and commercial context for collage and its related forms, spanning most of the major art movements of the postwar period. While the primary market was always been the driving force of our activity, represented by a diverse group of distinguished contemporary artists, we have always maintained an inventory of works by important proponents of the medium, including Hannelore Baron, Joe Brainard, Joseph Cornell, Al Hansen, Grace Hartigan, Ray Johnson, Jiri Kolar, Robert Motherwell, Louise Nevelson, Mimmo Rotella, Anne Ryan, Jacques Villegle and David Wojnarowicz. During our twentieth year, we opened a new chapter in our story, with a more dynamic business model and a name change to Pavel Zoubok Fine Art. The result is a more diverse range of collaborative exhibitions and public programs in venues across the United States and abroad.
